(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score if you don't remember, top speed used to make a solid rubber bushing PMM for the 3's. they were a mild upgrade over stock. no leaking fluid and no excessive NVH... just decreased engine movement. and, these are only $73 or so. a refresher on the old top speed mount: TOP SPEED AUTO ACCESSORIES, INC. so in searching i found this option: Roca USA (owned by megan racing) Roca USA part # RC-EM0002A i called the manufacturer and verified that these are solid rubber mounts. so, essentially, this is just like the old top speed mounts, but actually cost less. you can also find these on ebay or amazon. so, there it is. i intend to buy and test out in the next month or so, and will update then. until that time, feel free to discuss!

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm a bit suspicious about that mount being anything more than an OEM-like aftermarket replacement, regardless of what someone on the phone at the manufacturer says... Were they asked if they were any different than an OEM mount with regard to construction? ...because if all they did was open a box and look at one I don't know that they'd be able to tell that it's filled with fluid...

| Not Ranked : 0 score Looks to be the EXACT same as the TopSpeed mount but without the pretty blue paint. Very tempted to order this... just wonder how vibes will be without the filled mount.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score there are lots of threads regarding the top speed mount on m3f and a couple on m247 and none of them were negative. i know of at least one member on here that used it as well and he loved it. he's not on here anymore, though.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score and i just called them again. they do not make any liquid filled mounts, they are all solid rubber. however, they also said it is the rubber is the same stiffness rating as stock. so, i don't know if that would be very useful or not.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would say it would be at least little stiffer than the hydraulic mount that comes stock. Hydraulic mounts, purely by nature of design, are usually fairly compressible in order to transmit the least possible NVH to the passenger compartment. I'll probably be giving this a shot in the near future.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have the topspeed PMM. I can't say that it helps a lot with engine movement. I got it cheap and to me it does not at NVH. It is pretty mild compared to my TMM and RMM. I would upgrade to another aftermarket PMM but i hear they xmit a lot of NVH.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Couple quick notes from installation: fit was perfect. No issues whatsoever with installation. I had to relocate the ground just as with the Top Speed mount, but that was painless. I must say, it doesn't feel nearly as substantial as the stock mount, but there don't seem to be any obvious flaws with it, so I'm not too concerned. Feels like OEM so far, but I'll update as I break it in.

| Not Ranked : 0 score 300-mile update: For those who want OEM feel but don't want to pay OEM prices, this mount seems to do the trick. My original mount wasn't too beat up, but replacing it actually cleaned up my 1-2 shift quite a bit. For the longest time I was practically double-clutching it when the car was cold, but I don't need to anymore. Considering I had zero expectations for this mount, I'm quite impressed so far. This is a 45k-mile 2008.5 with quite a few track and auto-cross sessions on it, for what it's worth. I think I'll be purchasing their transmission mount next (I have an OEM GenPu RMM already).

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Sooo, last month my stocker exploded. It happened fast, too. I noticed one weekend a crack about a cm long. A drop of fluid was coming out. within 5 days, it jizzed all over my car. I installed a borrowed jbr pmm. 80 duro. Vibes weren't obnoxious (i already roll with a trz rmm & tmm) noises was biggest increase. But that was a stop gap until i could install the roca mount i bought off deadwayt. I received it and painted it a high temp / oil resistant matte black. I did the install, piece of cake. Even though this is a stockish style replacement, you still have to relocate the ground strap. Compared to the jbr, it is significantly lighter. I already tossed my busted stocker, so i can't compare to that. But I'd guess it's probably a little lighter? The aluminum is light. Fitment was good. Vibes and noise are stock-like. But, I've barely driven. I'll update later. For now, here are pics of it painted. I forgot to do before pics. uploadfromtaptalk1399772669397.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1399772684553.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1399772698580.jpg Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score ok now i've driven quite a bit on this mount. i don't see how anyone could complain about vibes with it. (i have seen multiple people say they didn't like the increase in vibes) this thing feels completely stock to me, honestly. i suppose that with the TRZ TMM installed already, i won't feel much of anything. so, i guess i'll say that this is a great mount so far. better than stock in that it won't explode. i don't make huge power, so i don't know how it would hold up with a big HP engine. but, if you're not a brand whore, it is probably worth a shot.

| Not Ranked : 0 score 4 months later it's still holding up just fine. During the winter NVH is horrible but whatever i got used to it. Car feels alot better after replacing the stock one. For the price i think it's well worth it. As stated above if you're not making big power this mount will be good enough. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score i haven't had any problems with it. i just looked at it (i already had the hood up) and it still looks the same as when i installed it. vibes aren't bad for me at all. but, i have the TRZ trans mount so i already have vibe city.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Good to hear, I don't wana have them race car vibes and saving money is always a good thing. Ill have to get this for sure then. Its odd it says its for a mazda 3, do the speed and regular 3 mounts match up that much?
