Default Oil Catch Can

Yeah so I've never done an oil catch can mod and my car has 90k miles on it now. I was wondering if spending $200 on it now is even worth it or if everything is so gunked up by now it doesn't matter.

Seafoams and oil changes happen often, but this obviously doesn't solve the PCV valve issue. Just curious if anyone with a lot of direct-injection experience has any input on this...

Fuck seafoam.

Clean those valves proper.

Get an OCC and block off your EGR.

Short answer : no. You arent spraying meth all the time. The stuff is literally caked on. You have to get in there and clean it manually..

Even 3 treatments of seafom didn't make a difference at 45,000 miles.

Sent via blown passenger side speakers.

Ok thanks, at least it won't/shouldn't get any worse running meth, I installed my kit at 40k so it's probably quite a mess already.

Lol. It cant hurt. Ive been running meth since like 20k miles. i usually clean them between 20-25k and everytime I clean them they still look like shit. Its just the nature of the beast. you will get good at taking the manifold off!

Yeah I'm not gonna do meth. I don't feel like tuning i.e. buying a tuner. If I'm not mistaken that's necessary...

Shit I don't wanna clean those valves. No doubt my car will blow up 10 miles after I clean them. That's usually the story with all of my crap.
