(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Mazdaspeed 6 trans not engaging reverse So my speed has developed a new issue. bought the car with broken shifter cables and swapped them out for the heavier midwest control cables and those broke too. narrowed it down to the rmm bring shot causing the motor to move too much while accelerating. mended the shifter linkage but now it wont go into reverse/ ive adjusted and adjusted but it just wont go. is it possible reverse has just shat the bed? can i fix that without pulling the motor and trans? im gonna check the fluid tomorrow and try adjusting the passenger side rod too to see if I can fix it.
