06 speed 6 boost issue

I have and 06 speed6 like the title says, cs Sri tip. When I get on it I cannot get more than 14lbs. I'm running the cobb ots for stage 1 for the above mods. I had it leak tested at awd tuning a couple weeks ago and they said that there is no leak that they can find, the map looked "fine." But targets should be around 16.5. Not sure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will post some logs after work tonight.

Posting a WOT log would be a good start.

Be sure to include:

Actual AFR
Boost PSI
Boost Air Temp.
Calculated Load
Coolant Temp
HPFP Actual Press.
Injector Duty Cycle
Intake Temp
Intake Valve Advance
Knock Retard
LTFT
MAF Volatage
Mass Airflow
RPM
STFT
Spark Advance
Throttle Position
WGDC

It looks like your hardware limited.

Boost Air Temps are pretty toasty due to your heatsoaked TMIC

Knock Retard is ramping up, and the ECU is pulling timing and richening the AFR to prevent detonation.

Hot air is less dense, hence your turbo has to work harder to force it into the cylinder. Boost levels take a hit and even more heat is generated.

Out of curiosity, what does your "custom exhaust" consist of?

Monitor your BATs, and try to avoid going WOT when your heatsoaked like that.

You can see in the other log, BATs are about 40 degrees cooler, and there is little to no KR when you go WOT.

Other than that, you need to get HPFP internals, and then go FMIC or spray meth. Or both.

Keep in mind, partial throttle KR is totally normal. So if you see it cruising around, no big deal.

Only at WOT does it throw red flags.

You may also want to try flashing a Stage 0 or SafeMode map.

For sure. That's why the vast majority of gen 1 guys choose to go FMIC.

Without a hood scoop, you can grill burgers on that TMIC.
