(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  $900 to spend hey guys. i don't post much but i have a big decision to make here. i bought this car with my $, but my dad bought me the extended warranty as a gift when i got this car. of course, reading thru these forums so much has got the mod bug itching me quite a bit now. so i told him let's cancel the extended warranty (i baby this car, 5k miles in 8 months) and buy me some mods lol. my last car was loud, and that's exactly what i want again. i luv this car and how fast it is, but i want some sound. i have TR so i'm not exactly worried about being stealth. i've decided that for the money, a cbe and sri are where it's at as far as getting some sound out of this car (mind u, i wanna stay under warranty and pass emmissions, it's my DD) so going catless or DP is out of the question unfortunately. i've read about maybe just removing the 3 resonators on the stock exhaust, but from what i can tell doesn't make it all that much louder. i called streetunit and for the $ and quality, they told me cpe is the way to go with exhaust (and loudest when optioned with no mufflers). i understand cbe yield little to no performance gain at all, but again, i'm really just looking for some more sound to go with the already stellar performance this car offers. i live in pa, nobody has fast cars here lol. for the intake, i've decided on the cpe nano as well. can anyone else chip in with perhaps a different route to go? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score it really sounds like shit when your not wide open throttle, but when your wide open throttle it does sound really good. and it makes your eyes burn, also if you smoke, when you sit there and idle, it blows out black specs of oil that was burned on the inside its great. cpe's tbe will get you laid make no mistake about that.
