Not Ranked : 0 score here is the temporary fix i did, i took it apart to redo it. it appears the front side of the coupler didn't get sealed down so it could have been getting pushed up blocking some air flow before. the silicon is a bit sloppy but whatever here you go.

Not Ranked : 0 score i couldn't get that shit to sand down anymore and i think the silicon makes it look thicker cause i have it up on the coupler itself to smoothe it out. i measured and with the coupler the housing is about 2.5", what is stock?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Can you explain how you did that? Did you just put something in there to the size you want then filled everything around it with silicone? Mine is going on once the car is back and I would like to have this stupid mistake fixed. Corksport never called me back about the new MAF, so hopefully they get back to me tommorow.

Not Ranked : 0 score basically i took a 2.75" coupler, cut it down the middle cause it was just a tad to big. then i cut a spot out near my cut down the middle for where the maf sits. then i put some silicon in the tube and then loaded up all the way around the coupler with it as well. its a messy job so have some garbage rags around. then all you have to do is slide it in and get is positioned just right. like loosh said you want about 1/4" of the coupler to go past where the maf sits. There is probably about an inch and to an inch and a half in front of the maf. then when you have it in try and get some silicon in the cracks to make sure they are all sealed up, its tough to get the far end but i just put some on my finger and went around as best i could. once that is all said and done i would let it dry for at least an hour if not more. last time i did it i don't think i waited long enough or put enough rtv silicon in cause when i took it apart today i noticed the front part of the coupler was peeling off the tube which leads me to believe some air was geting trapped under there and probably causing some turbulence and decreasing the size of the maf housing more. since i fixed it today i haven't taken it out for a drive, i'm going to let it cure over night so i won't drive it til i head to work in the morning. but hopefully i don't have backfire anymore.

Not Ranked : 0 score ok so this hasn't been updated in a while but i just wanted to say that corksport was able to replicate my lean at idle issues and what not on another speed6 so they are sending me a new maf housing tomorrow.
