Default For the EWG gurus

this is with my tial 38mm v band. When i got tuned it was perfect 20psi across the board using the grimmspeed EBCS. as soon as i got on the street it was all over spiking 25psi. anyway we could not tune it lower so We decided to Run straight wastgate pressure. So right now running straight wategate pressure my boost goes straight up to 20psi and stayes pegged there. It worked out perfect cause i wanted a good 20psi tune. Anyway when i was on the dynojet it only boosting 18psi.
What is going on there? why would it boost different if im running straight wastegate pressure. Does anyone have any clue what spring i might have. It does not spike, just stayes pegged at 20 WOT but only 18 on dynojet. does the car really boost less with less load even on straight wastegate pressure? also what spring pressure does it look like i have. When i ordered the tial i stated 1.1 bar witch is 15.9 psi or did i get the wrong one? im confused.

a dynojet is not a load based dyno so boost will always be lower then the street.


stop being lazy and take your fucking wastegate apart already. you've already gone crazy guessing lol

EBCS with the EWG doesnt really work all that well, I tried stock with and without pills, and the perrin and would get erratic boost, switched to an MBC an all is well now.

Your car only hits 18 pounds on the dyno because there isnt enough load to generate the boost you run on the street (your not pulling aroudn 3152-3400 lbs (if you are lenny lol... love you)
