(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Picked up a pre owned 08 Speed 3 GT about 6 months ago with 150K on it. Did not take long to bolt it ( look at sig). Got an ATP GTX3076 in a box ready to go on in the next couple of weeks. Call me crazy call me a fool but I intend on making 400 WHP on a 150K stock block with lousy California 91 octane. Lucky for me corn is only 30 minutes away. Will start a build thread in a couple of weeks. Happy Holidays.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the reply. I figure if the motor goes I will just put in a built one. Should be fun while it lasts.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm really curious to see if you will actually hit 400whp on shitty ass CA 91 octane... realistically I can't imagine you seeing more than 350-375 on just pump... why not just do 91 with meth?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the replys. gdawg25 is right I will be running corn with the 91 to hit the 400. The question is how much corn? Stratified told me with 4 gallons per tank I would run out of injector before octane. I would be happier if I only had to run 3 gallons. Can someone chime in who has run a BT with 91 as to a recommended corn mix ratio.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I ran 25% E85 and 75% 91 with my gtx3076 and made 370awhp without additional fueling. 23 psi and about 16* timing. Turbo was sleeping lol... But i have a much more efficient setup (v-band, CPE mani, FMIC, EWG) so it's not really a fair comparison but you could still come close. If you keep the tmic I would suggest you get a cheap meth kit with a small nozzle for cooling. Btw, 370awhp ~415whp for you =) VD numbers

| Not Ranked : 0 score You won't make 400whp without tuning for meth, full exhaust including equal length headers.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I feel bad for you Cali folks who can only get the crappy 91 octane. Back on topic, I would perform a compression test on the motor before installing the turbo.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Someone should use Meth in tank to see if they get more injector headroom, I use less Meth than Eth to get the same octane knock protection. Might help you

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Got freektuned dynotuned in SoCal yesterday. Justin is awesome. Tuned it to 380whp/380tq . He said it had more but I decided to stop before the 400 mark, because of 160k on the motor. 20 away from my goal, I guess I can live with that for now. It is so hard to keep straight with that power already. Use freektune, Justin is the best. Thanks Justin.
