Default JBR TIP Install Issue

Maybe im being retarded. But every thing ive seen on how to do this ismt clearing this up at all.

I have my stock turbo inlet pipe which next the turbo side has two connections. Both of which I removed. I put my new JbR TIP on and there is on a spot to reconnect one of the connections. To the boost solenoid. I understand there is a spot on my COBB SRI to connect this to. But it is nowhere near long enough. Wtf!

you have the revised valve cover breather for smoking turbo fix it looks.

There's not too many aftermarket tips that have their breather hole thing located in the back... HTP, CS and I think JBR used to have one on their non-silicone intakes, I'm not sure why they changed that...

Sure sells a solution that's just a slilicone tube that goes from the valve cover breather to the SRI breather hole. You can probably find something similar for much cheaper at a hardware store, just remove those plastic fittings and put the hose over the pipe. I hate to use a SURE example, but here is a picture just for reference, I am AFFIRMATIVE you can find a cheaper solution in a store, it's just tubing and a connector.

If you have that kind of valve cover, it was probably in effort to prevent or stop smoking turbo

Very much appreciated thank you. Just got a new pil catch can in. May have to sacrifice some of that piping if it fits.

This was very irritating after tearimg everything out. Lol

I had the smoking turbo revision as well and had to plan this out, so I understand the predicament lol

I'll be switching to an HTP intake though so I can retain the benefits of having the breahter closer to the turbo vs near the intake filter

some people simply put a tiny breather filter on the valve cover pipe and block off the one on the intake and they do fine. IMO it's not ideal, but people say it works great.

Not sure if you could find one locally.

CPE's intake setup comes iwth one i believe

Run a hose from the intake to the valve cover. One with a 5/8 ID.

I have searched the whole garage for one. Guess im gonna have to reinstall stock tip intercooler battery and cobb sri. Drive to home depot. Get some tubing. Drice back. And take it all back off.

Fml.

I feel like ive spent my whole life doing this.

I installed jbr thermal throttle body gasket and coolant bypass and blocked off my egr today.

Hours.
