Default Oil for smoking turbo?
Hey guys I know this is a question that has been answered but I don't have much battery life and I need some quick help. What oil do I need to use after I installed my catless downpipe and my turbo smokes now? I can't remember where I found that thread and I don't have much time before I'm at the store. Thanks in advance for the help

5w-40 shell rotella t6. You will need higer idle and restrictor bolt.

Going catless will kill those shit seals no matter what you do.

Going catless did NOT kill my turbo seals. Now at 93,000 miles, all but the first 10,000 on catless 3" dp/rp. No turbo smoke. Ever. Can't generalize. Some smoke others don't. Seems to be no real rhyme or reason. I do have idle raised, always run synthetic oil, but no smoke even if I flash back to stock tune.
