I'm more than happy with my streetunit tmic. There's a thread on here somewhere showing how much cooler it keeps BATs as compared to the cork sport tmic (someone tested both on the same car in the same temperature on the same stretch of road).

Found it

Better off buying in the for sale section than giving SU $320 on their 1 day sale.

Older ones had tabs snap off, they blamed installer error.

ETS, CP-E, and Corksport are all good MSF supporting vendors. Support the good team, not some egomaniac who sells shit parts and only cares about $, not the consumer.

Fuck SU. They make garbage.

I have a streetunit TMIC and I haven't had any issues with it at all. Feels like a solid piece of equipment to me.

I have a CPE, it's an excellent high quality piece for a very reasonable price. Buy from a MSF supportive vendor. They care and know how to treat their customers.

with the ms6 you will have to relocate the reservoir if you get the cx kit. There is a 90s honda reservoir that others are getting and placing on the drivers side. I got a cx kit and treadstone TR8 for about $500.

Stay away from SU.

Seems to be well put together for what it is. I'm still working on my tune (as always) but I'm right around 300hp. My last VD showed exactly 290hp and 340ft.lb averaged over 3 runs. I'm now running 2psi more than I was though so the numbers should be closing in on 300/350.

I picked up a used SU top mount and I can tell you its a bit of a bitch to get on... The hot side connection isn't quite angled right, and the brackets are a tight fit on it. i can see how people may have been snapping the brackets off. Thankfully mine isn't too bad in that department.

All be told though, they use a good core and crap it up by welding their brackets and hot side pipe to it with a lousy jig. If you find one for a deal used, I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up, because it does work pretty good for a TMIC, but after seeing an ETS in person, they are WAYYYYYY above and beyond in the quality department.

i think i will prob go with a cxracing front mount. i just need to figure out where iam put this stupid washer bottle. thats the only thing holding me back. the CX kit is very well priced. i was reading on here you guys are using civic washer bottles on the driver side. thats a pretty sweet idea. but for the ppl not using them. are u guys putting them in the trunk?

As you start accumulating parts, like DP, RMM, intercooler, and everything else, those internals should be at the top of your list.

No need to figure out what to do with the washer, find the threads of others who have successfully done it.

Good luck man.
