Default Seibon CF Hood MS6: Longterm Feedback??
I've always hated how heavy the oem hood is and after dropping it on my hands/head for the 3rd time I'm done with this anchor. Looking at CF hoods and thus far it looks like seibon has the highest marks for fit and quality. Anybody out there running this hood that would like to chime in with fitment reviews and long-term feedback on how its held up. I'm sticking with the tmic so fit is very important to me to maintain good airflow to the intercooler. I hate visual rice so I'll most likely paint the damn thing in the near future. Right now I'm pretty set on the oem version, but the evo style one doesn't look horrible.

There's no CF hood from Seibon for the MS6, I don't think. The only ones they have are for the standard MZ6, and they won't fit unless you swap the fenders front bumper cover, and a lot of the stuff to mount them. You'd also need a FMIC to run the MZ6 hood at all, as there's not enough room beneath it for the TMIC.

We got the speed3 version, right across from me, if they make the speed6 like they do this one youll find it hard to dislike anything about it. But for the price it better be this god damn nice looking. They ship with a unique shipping company that will schedule a delivery for you, what stupid is once you get it you realize you can pretty much lift it with your hand and tuck it under your arm sign the paper and walk away. But seriously its very well made and nice the only downside was that seibon recommendation is to use hoodpins to hold it down, i want to see about keeping the regular hood pop but im not about to just punch holes in this hood. I can tell you that.

As long as you replace the scoop that comes with it. No need to worry about that on the 6 though.
