As many of you know, been chasing 11's for a little bit. The ACT street disk, just wasn't up to the task. Everytime I would get a decent launch and 1-2 shift, it would slip like hell in 3rd and 4th. Finally got my 6puck installed. Started at 12.1 which was already better than the 12.2-12.4's I was getting, then managed 3 11.9's in a row. Made a couple minor adjustments to tire pressure and LC limiter, and managed to get myself an 11.54@125. So freekin pumped right now. lol

Next up is stiffen rear all the way stiff, go with less gas (sleeping at the pump and put way too much in) and pull rear seats out. Had pulled passenger seat and spare for these runs.

My gtx3076 got killed by debris that got sucked in by a new intake. So I decided to just switch it up to a PTE5858. Essentially at the same power level as the gtx3076 due to being out of fuel. Here is my dyno chart

5858 is equivalent to the gtx3076. They even spool the exact same

Mostly just stiffening up my coil overs, and pulling my rear seat. Nothing crazy, but I think the the stiffer suspension and working on my shifting should see some nice gains

great that u posted the progression of the night man .... u can see how u improved . what was your launch rpm on your low 1.9s vs the mid 1.8s ??? notice also how your mph goes up soon as u launch harder .... that is the double benefit of pushing wheel speed out of the hole ..lower 60s and you get going sooner aka trap higher

super nice progress for 1 night of r&d ...got a lot left in that car as is

On the earlier runs I was launching at 5500, then I ended up at 6k for the last and best pass, which seemed just about perfect. I would LOVE to get in the 1.7's though. Maybe next time

just remember that the TIRE does the work , trying to get traction by launching lower is not the right answer ever because you trade 60ft for 330ft .... on a gen 2 mid 1.7s on 15s should be the norm without much effort , just smart choices before u even launch


i do have an awesome video though for you to watch to help you "motivate" you to give powershifting a try .....

all joking aside .... u knock off 1/10th off that 60ft will turn into 2/10 on the ET .... some powershifting (after 2 beers) and u can probably pick up another 1/10 or two .... the math is there .... thats an easy 11.1-11.2 car as it sits right now ...also ... if you truly want to get the most out of your car down the strip then understand that until your 8th mph gets closer to 100 you are leaving shit on the table ... there is always a direct relationship between 660mph and 1320mph , the tighter the two are in distance the more efficient the run is .
