(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My first run was against a c-4 vette (auto), not sure what year. The guy on the PA said "It looks like the little "toyota" is out matched in this race but maybe his accelerator will stick and give him more power." I'm sure he was shocked when I spun my wheels and still ran a 13.7 @ 106 mph to the vettes 13.9 @ 104. I got a lot of attention after that with the announcer calling my car the "sleeper" on my next pass and corrected himself about calling it a toyota. The second pass was almost perfect, I hit second smoothly and it grabbed, no hop just go. my best 60 ever, 2.154. I have Hankook V12's in stock size on the car. I ended up running 13.392 @ 107.15, my best ET and my fastest trap ever. I lost the race off the line with an awful .341. I'm on the right, car #58. I won't be going back anytime soon unless I have a set of drag radials which is not in my budget right now. I need a Fuel pump and down pipe before I buy DR's.

I just got the Hankooks and I think they helped at my first run of the season; I bested my time last night by 2/10ths and 2mph. I didn't spin or hop at all w/ the DSC on. My best launch ever after 20+ slips. Hankook V12s ftw?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Nice runs! But be careful on those stock MM's... Last time I went I hopped off the line a little and next thing I know I'm fucked with my engine dropped. It sucked because it was a great night and I rarely been there with great conditions. My first run was 14.0@100 missing 3rd! It was my 2nd run that all hell broke lose... Just make sure you don't hop too much because these mounts will / do break |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Nice runs 08Cosmic. The last time you had some video. Where's the vids? Sounds like you had some fun though. As for the fuel pump and DP. That sounds like a good plan. I got the pump and now I working on the DP. Actually, I've been working on it since last Thursday. What a PITA, but hopefully, I can get it buttoned up tomorrow. Four days....not to bad for me.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Nice run! It's great running that MPH on street tires... I can't get anywhere near that if I don't have DRs. I already have the DP and CDFP upgrades but my car is a slow MS3 compared to yours. |

I did notice on the way home that my clutch peddle seemed to need less pressure to push it down. I did burn the clutch some as I could smell it when i raised my hood after one of my runs. Not sure what that means, maybe someone here can tell me what might cause the peddle to have less resistance and it seems that it engages closer to the floor now. My guess is I'm just wearing it out.
