Had some issues that prevented me from powershifting (UCA was binding bad on hard shifts but w/e .... Got my first 1.7 on street tire and by November hopefully an 11.9

Rod, congrats on 1.7 60ft time and 12.23 run! It is definitely a better prep track than Fontana. Did you add additional power since last visit at Fontana?

Same power but no powershifting my driveshaft kept hitting my tunnel so I called it after an hour . I'll go back November and should get close to 11.9 at 115-116 then . Car already fixed yesterday

thanks .... i fixed my issue sunday .... gonna work a little more on optimizing power on higher rpm if possible and ill go back in november to the full track with better air i think 11.9 with a 1.75 60ft will be possible since i will be able to powershift through all gears then unlike this weekend.

just gotta do a lil more short track work on shifting points to see if another mph is there somewhere.

that launch was around 3800-4k .... slip out of the hole and quickly roll into WOT ... ill be going to the same track same conditions tomorrow ... i dont think i can trap more than 114 ....but im gonna try a couple of different things plus more aggressive launch and powershift 1-2 see if it holds and hopefully better my times ....

12.1 @ 114 ill be happy
12.0 @ 114 ill be stoked
11.9 @ 114-115 ill go through the roof


i would like to land some mid to low 1.7s though

I am sure with more experimenting you'll figure out what's needed to get there.

I'm pretty excited to start putting more effort into the coyote's so that we can shoot the shit on an even better level of understanding when it comes to power and racing.

yeah ..wish i had more power and slicks to show what the car ..or a rwd car is capable of but fuck it ...i do with what i got ... after ryans wobble wobble that really made me think about what this cars primary job is .... transportation ... so i will make my progress without taking risks beyond my comfort .

whatever i have , whatever budget for me racing is making what YOU have the fastest it can be with your car.... when im done this time my next will be to slap on taller wider street tires and boss manifold and shoot for maybe easier 11.8-11.9s hopefully 2mph +


ill post results fail or not tomorrow .. leaving house at 5am get there at 730am ..track opens at 8am and racing starts at 10am ...150 miles one way ..... julio meeting me up there JUST to video and chill....now thats a drag racing pal
