Default Lots of smoke

Ok so im new to the turbo game and bought an 03.5 msp for 2500 dude said it had a bad turbo and he bought a new one but it had to be installed so i installed it because the car was lacking power and smoking clouds of smoke on start up really light blue/white smoke so i did my research and found bad turbo seals so put in the slightly used 40k turbo the turbine had a little side to side movment but was told that was ok? after getting back together it still smokes clouds of smoke boost and vac is normal 6 p.s.i boost and 20-22hg vac why is it still msoking like tis could this one have a bad turbo seal as well the oil was change a week ago and coolant remains fine no milky oil so maybe valve guid seals idk but the smoking stops after it has warmed up and i drive it a little but its alot of smoke what do you guys think?

Check valve stem seals. Also check if there's oil residue in cold pipe. That is a significant sign that the turbo is going bad.
