Default Corksport TMIC optional shroud

I have a CS TMIC and I was thinking about getting the optional shroud. I heard a rumor that it doesn't fit good. I have been trying to find pics of it install and can't find any. Would someone be able to enlighten me? Possible pics would be nice. I want a custom look.

No point, the cs allows you to reuse your stock plastic IC cover which seals to the hood scoop.

I have that setup now and was looking for a more custom look. I would like to show off my TMIC and make it not look so stock at shows.

it's not a make of break. I will stick with the stock if I have to. I just like the bling.

It comes polished. To be honest I did not really notice a difference, however it can't hurt, and most people don't have it, so it looks great at car meets.

Heres a pic

I read some where that you can have them powder coat it gloss black of flat black. It's a special order plus $50.00.

Below is a pic of mine at a car show...As for the shroud, yeah def a waste of the money for me since i still use the stock plastic shroud. IMO don't waste the extra $ to get one.

no fitment issue that i know of...i kinda just bought it and then once i installed it, i didnt want to use the shroud because i wanted more of that stock look. Its more of a personal preference. From what i can recall there shouldnt be any fitment issues. When i bought mine it came with the hardware to install the shroud. If you want, tomorrow ill bolt it all up real quick and give you a def answer on if theres fitment issues or not and include some pics.

You can see the rub marks from the rubber gasket on the front half of the shroud. I don't think it touches on the rear half, and I honestly don't think it matters.

I would of really liked it if they made it go over to the drivers side more. This would of covered up the wires and other stuff up like the stock one does. I wish I could fab up on and get it powder coated.

I modified my CS Shroud because it didn´t fit. If i put it under the notch on the backside of the TMIC, the 2 holes on the front didn´t lined up correct. It was to short. So i built a custom clamp on the backside of the shroud like on the oem part. Now the CS shroud sits directly on top of the TMIC notch and is sealing perfect in front and back!! Also its now correct leveled with the TMIC. Before this mod, the Sealing of the Hood was only touching the TMIC on the backside but not the Shroud. If you look from the side at the Shroud, you can see that its to deep on the backside. Thats the reason why it can´t touch the shround. Thats not good!
The only problem i see, is that the aluminum shroud is rubbing more than stock part because of its brushed surface. The OEM Sealing rubber is wearing faster. You can see small rubber parts on the shroud and if you touch the rubber, you cant slide your finger over it as easy as before. It look like there is a special coating on the rubber, so that it slides better. This coating is now rubbed away on some parts of the sealing :-(

This was the reason why i changed back to stock cover. But i liked the CS one much more.

The more info I get about this shroud the more I'm not sure about it. Maybe I will just stick to my stock shroud.

Sorry for resurrecting the dead.

I have the TMIC from Corksport but since i want to use another strut tower brace i can't use the OEM-Cover anymore. So i tried to get the optional aluminium shroud - but it isn't produced anymore.

Does somebody have the corksport aluminium shroud and can take some measurements for me so that i can lasercut one myself?

Picture 1 shows my setup now.
Picture 2 shows the measurements i need (A to J)

Many thanks in advance.
