Default Accessport screen locked

Yesterday I attempted to update my accessport with the latest firmware, and now my accessport screen displays "updating" every time it is plugged into my computer. I've read hundreds of troubleshooting ideas that have been of no success for me. Most things I read for fixing it deal with people using AP Manager on Windows, but I use it on Mac and cannot find any good info.
Do not want to ship back to Cobb if I can help it!
Thanks!

What did they say?

There could be a number of reasons why it's frozen.

They said the computer I am using may use USB 3.0 ports, I can either try a computer with USB 2.0 ports, use and adaptor, but they are sending me an updated USB cable that will hopefully solve the problem.

How long did you wait? Sometimes it just takes forever....

Set it up, then go run an errand and see what happens when you come back.
