Default cobb AP stage 1 tune question

okay i am confused. i just got my AP and cobb loaded the stage 1 tune for stock intake on 2012. why is everyone running the satge 0 tune if cobb is saying the stage 1 is good and safe for the 2012 speed3


also what needs to be in a log to get good feedback from forum and be useful

No clue. You are doing it right. Stage 0 is the equivalent to the stock tune. Just keep an eye on your fuel pressure, any dips below 1600psi and you need internals.

All of the default values are fine for the logs, you'll want to add MAF voltage for MAF logs.

lol....1600? Read the COBB manual and even that is on the safer side sometimes..

I'm pretty sure the Gen2s take a shit if their pressure drops below 1500psi at WOT, thus the 1600psi minimum recommendation which allows a little headroom.

3rd gear wot log is good. Find straight, flat and clean road. I use a freeway on ramp. Turn dsc and ac off. Set AP rev warning to 6500 rpm. In third gear around 2500 rpm start logging, wait a couple of seconds then stomp on pedal to floor (throttle position at 75-76%). Then when AP blinks when you hit 6500 let off gas and shift gears as normal. Prolly to 6th since you be going about 80 mph. Turn logging off. But honestly I wouldnt go wot much until you get fp internals.

Use standard item list for the log and save as excel file.
