just download the correct year map. then make sure you download the correct year and model ATR (make sure its USDM) then open ATR and go to file-open and pick the downloaded map. you cant double click the map to open it. the elevation is too low for these maps thoughin maryland. they should be used at least at 3000ft ASL or above

I really only use my car as a daily driver and mostly alone, which for me is awesome. My daily drive to work is roughly 30-45 minutes. I take Parker S. to work, sometimes home, sometimes I-25N home. Lots of stop and go, low gear driving, some WOT, and a loads of elevation changes. You learn a lot about cars when you're watching them struggle up a hill.

My sig has my mods, but I'm on Goodyear Eagle GT's 235's, stock wheels, stock suspension height. I think I've kept the mods modest enough that I have enough power and also confidence that I won't break anything if I do drop the hammer. I do need internals, I aso need an OCC, and I think front 02 sensor. I'll be doing fluids/plugs/tire rotation at the beginning of the summer. Need to inspect valves too. ..hell ya, I love working on my car.

@snailD; you mentioned needing internals so I can go stage 2 tune, but when I'm driving, I don't know where I'd find the traction for the type of power I feel I already have.

With that being said, I've been using @snailD's; stage one high alt. tune for a few months. I stand by my initial assessment that it is much more race car than the COBB map ever made my car feel. It also pulls like a fuckin freight train too. There is a connectedness I feel with the car and the road that inspires confidence. 1st gear is actually fucking useful and I use it often. With the COBB map, I could break the tires loose, just under power, no cluching, at boost in 1st and 2nd. Snail's map could, but there is so much more traction, 1st just connects and goes. I can feel the wheels really haunch up and grip the road, it’s such a surreal feeling.

The power delivery is linear and just pulls til the top. I have much more confidence in my top end than I ever did on the COBB map. I don't have torque steer any more, but the car goes where the wheels are which sometimes can make the car feel squirrely under WOT. Sort of scary, mostly fuckin badass.

People complain about NVH, I don’t give a shit about it, but there is a noticeable difference between this map’s NVH and COBB’s. snailD’s being much smoother and quitter.

This tune is for sure an upgrade from the COBB map. Driving my car is a fuckin blast and the tune really gives my car a sleeper feel. It’s especially fun to surprise people who’ve never been in my car.

flashed the 07-08 stage 1 map to my car (located in utah)! runs great now! the Cobb ots stage 1 was giving hella knock now i have ZERO knock at wot and way better pull in my lower gears! definitely recommend these maps if you live at high altitude!

Downloaded the stage 1 map for my 2008 friday night and its a HUGE improvement over the cobb map. Car feels alot smooter, and I have not had a blip of knock while WOT like I would sometimes get with the cobb. And like @Tacheny said the car feels alot more smooth and quiet while idleing. Would recomend this map to anyone at altutidue. Thank you sir!

Just FYI. I noticed an AFR issue with a local car leaning out. This is the only one that i know of. Therefore i entered the fix in all the possible effected maps which were 07-09 model years. if you are one of these and running this map please download the new one just for piece of mind.

Not necessarily cutting boost and power (a lot) but allowing better cruise MPG if you have a disciplined right foot.

I have a 2013 up at 5000 ft and am very interested to get better than 25mpg (computer) while staying mostly out of boost. Running Cobb Stage 2 map currently.

There's no reason that you can't have power and fuel economy in the same map. It all depends on how you tune the low load/low throttle portion of the map versus the high-load/high throttle portion of the map.

There are a variety of tuning resources on this very forum, all you need to do is look for them. You can figure out how to do this without too much trouble if you spend a little time and expend a little energy to look. In fact, there are entire tuning guides on this forum devoted to fuel economy, and performance.

Nope, not unless you're working with a pro tuner. ATR for us regular Joes is locked to a particular AP serial number anyway.
