(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm getting ready to install my Devils Own DVC-30 kit and someone said there was a self tapping nozzle which would allow me to tap into a silicon coupling through my intercooler piping. I've searched around the forum and on google but not finding the exact part I need. There are a few possible items but I dont want to order the wrong thing. Does this thing work well and does it seal good to prevent boost leaks? I'm trying to save my intercooler piping from having to weld a bung in it so when i sell my kit it doesn't have a big hole in it for the next buyer. Just wondering if anyone had a link to devil's own website part number so i can get this ordered. While i'm ordering this part is there anything else you would recommend? I'm going to use my windshield washer fluid reservoir to start with and once i go big turbo i'll have room to mount a 4qt tank under the drivers side wheel well. I see people also recommend running a solenoid and the check valve, is that still true? Thanks for the help! I'll get the parts ordered and start installing my kit shortly after.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I recommend not running from windshield washer reservoir first off. PM me if you need a tank. I haz a 1 gallon (4qt) tank I'll sell cheap. Some have had success with the nozzle adapter, some have not. I manned up and tapped my hard side of cold pipe. You can always buy a spare from all these guys going FMIC. I think its well worth it. Also I opted for the solenoid upgrade over the CV, not sure if its better or not, but so far works great. Although looking at @9900rpm dyno runs, I'll never have the opportunity to shoot flames out the back with 100% meth lol. Which IMO is pretty bad ass. Good luck either way. |

I found the part I need to buy. Nozzle Mounting Adapter Has anyone else ran this nozzle adapter yet? It taps into the silicon. I'm afraid of it leaking but then again i dont want to tap my intercooler piping for resale purposes since i'll be getting rid of it soon.

That's the right part you got there to tap into the rubber hose of the cold pipe. I personally wouldn't do it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Sorry I iz late, but these two guys above me posted the two most important reasons to not use the WW tank and not using the adapter. Really comes down to personal preference though. You wouldn't want high concentrations of methanol being sprayed on your paint should you need to spray your windshield. Not to mention wasting meth. You guys don't have bugs there? I envy if not. I hit one the other day and that fucker left a mark going up the hood and onto the windshield. Not to mention the occasional Teradactile (sp) sized bird droppings. Around here we need our WW fluid lol. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I could also mention I just refilled my fluid tank for the first time a few months ago and I've owned my car for 3.5 years...shows how very little I use the fluid around here. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

| Not Ranked : 0 score as far as the nozzle being recessed being an issue, im not really sure. on the bench, yes having it recessed, like in those silicone/rubber fittings, it hits the sides and doesnt atomize well. The question is, does that change when there's a lot of air velocity passing perpendicular to the opening.... probably, but I'm not sure to what degree, etc, so it's hard to know exactly what's ok and what's not. According to chance @ DO, its fine once theres airflow across the hole.... I obvioulsy have't tested it myself, so i ended up just drilling and tapping aluminum pipes. thin, but it worked fine, with a little silicone RTV |
