It drops right in, mang. It has all the same k04 parts, just a different center section.

What do you mean by EM? Engine management? You need a fuggin tune if you're upgrading a turbo!

Okay, thanks for the quick response. I have my eye on one of these right now.

I think you can run a TMIC with a larger core, but a HPFP is definitely strongly suggested.

Really to get the most out of it you should upgrade certain components.

If you read his mods, you'll see that he has everything to support a BNR3 and I just noticed that he's tuned, so he has AP.

dereeek, you could drop a BNR3 right in and start tuning. Car will be pretty fast.

Side by side numbers between k04 and BNR? No need. Ziggo is making about 390whp with a few gallons of e85. When I had one on my car with 93 oct and a little meth, traction was hard to come by. It kicks the k04's ass, no debate.

I made the numbers in my sig with minimal supporting mods. I'm still on 22psi because no 3 bar map yet like Ziggo. So 380, 390 is definitely possible with this turbo.

After having installed the BNR Stage 3 the support equipment is almost similar to a Full on BT setup minus the fabricated brackets to thold the turbo, an upgraded exhaust manifold, and an external wastegate.

Here is what I believe is the bare minimum equipment to get the most out of your BNR Stage 3.
Cobb AP
Upgraded Fuel Pump Internals
EBCS or MBCS (You could technically use the oem EBCS and a Restrictor Pill, but it is slower to react)
3 BAR MAP sensor and Harness
One Step Colder Plugs
E-Tuner

Highly suggested upgrades:
Guardian Angel
Upgraded Intercooler
Upgraded Intake and TIP
Upgraded Exhaust (Downpipe and or Test Pipe)
Aftermarket Exhaust Manifold
Upgraded Motor Mounts
Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines

One more thing, I noticed that certain TIPs, such as the CP-E one, might have a hard time connecting to the BNR Stage 3 since the part where the TIP clamps too is a bit wider than the Stock K04. I had to use a larger clamp to get my CS TIP to fit.

I have a cnt tbe, cobb sri/inlet, cx racing/pg fmic, forge v1, grimmspeed 3-port, and 3 gallons of e85 with a great tune by atvfreek and made 367. Now with a JBR full 3.5 intake and a 3 bar map to up the boost to 24-25psi 380whp is definitely within reach.

That should be attainable. I am also looking for a similar goal.

Most of the highly suggested items are required. If you throw a BNR on without intake/TIP/downpipe, you're an idiot wasting your time and money.

Also, braided brake lines? No.

There are people out there who probably would if they could. There are probably quite a few people still using the Stock TIP.

Braided Brake Lines and switching over to DOT4 made a night and day difference over the stock lines.

no one will argue that,

I dont see why an upgraded k04 would call for brake parts lol

Well my pads were paper thin and my brake pedal was spongy.

For about $105 worth of stuff and 1.5 hours worth of time, it is an upgrade that may save your arse.

It is quite simple, faster car needs better brakes. The last thing you need is brakes wearing out after you upgrade the turbo .

ah then you should also change oil too then, you don't want bad oil on a new turbo, if you do balance shaft delete you can have even more oil capacity too

I would also clean my floor mats, you dont want your feet to be slipping around with more power on your car

Well I did change my oil since I sprayed walnut shell on the intake valves to clean them.

I am on the fence about the balance shaft delete.

I had to clean my rubber floor mats after we spilled quite a bit of coolant during the turbo install.

In all honesty, I don't think the valve cleaning was beneficial.
