great deal on ATP 3071r!!!!!!

Dunno man, it's been awhile since I've been on MSF but the last time I read the HT tune was a better tune then some of the earlier AP maps.......like I said it's been a while since I've been on.......

no funds for HPFP.....and if I did I'd def go CP-E, that's an ez $650

You can always sell your hypertech to recoup some of the cost for an AP or SB. That is my plan when I have the funds free for the BNR stage 3.

Yeah, you'll need HPFP, FMIC, and I would get it professionally tuned by someone using AP. I have a Standback and I wish I had an AP instead. I bought the car this way, though, so I'm making the best of it.

if you are not ready to do the steps above that are already mentioned than you might as well by the turbo, make sure all the inlets/outlets are covered and tuck the turbo away until you have the money to by the other supporting mods or you are just going to be hurting yourself in the end..

well gonna have to pass it up and in all reality gotta get new pads and rotors soon and maybe do some suspension mods.....thx for all the advice fellas!!!!!!

im gonna have to say any platform would need certain mods. you just cant slap a big turbo on something and have it drive just fine. but if you did buy it someone would prob buy it right back off you if you didnt use it

wow dude. no. you are definitely not in any position to be putting a bigger turbo on without thinking about the fuel pump. honestly the fuel pump should be like the second mod for everyone.

and running the 3071 with a HT tune? not a good idea.

You need to add to your car like the others have said, Toss the HT tune if you anyting over stock K04. My reworked casue some havoc with the HT tune, I made less HP and TRQ with the reworked on th HT, Sold it and got a AP.. Plus at min you need to match my mods, , I'm looking at the BRN STG3.

The difference is $1600 with intake or $1900 with intake. Plus $300 for install and $300 for tune, When only having $2k to spend these are things you look at. Only $300 so why dont you send me $300 and I'll but if for $1600 NP.,,. HAHAH .

it really boils down to this....if you want to play, you've got to pay. Dont skimp out on mods you will need to run this turbo...get the supporting mods now, and save yourself a huge headache (major motor failure)...Listen to these guys. The know what they are talking about.

Use the money to get an AP and a fuel pump..

Make yourself a real tune and you'll have more power than you'd get with the 3071 and your crap HT and the OEM HPFP, and you wont blow your shit up....at least not right away.

Yeah, a custom tune is mandatory if you want good/safe power with a BT.
