Default K04/K06 hybrid
As i was doing more research concerning our turbos and what has been done them by Audi/VW and other euro car shops. I came across a forum that had one of these, to me they look alot like the PTP SST. Im wondering if PTP does this or something a little different, anyways I thoug this was cool in way. And am wondering what other KKK turbos could be hybrid with our K04.

Even the stage 4 seems to be rated less than the PTP turbo.

they mentioned that stage 1 was a straight up bolt on but were vague about stage 2...what modifications are required for stage 2?

and so really they are just fitting in new compressors to the same housing? would the same compressor do better in a bigger housing? i guess im really seeing most of the benefit (other than the upgraded compressor and other things) is the fact that it is a bolt on meaning all intake mods and exhaust mods that fit the stock k04 will work on these hybrids as well

i'm still waiting on my stage 3 kkk modified k04-112 super hybrid to come in. i'm thinking my car will be a stage 4 maybe 5 once i get this hooked up. I just hope my rods don't exist the block.

Yes, factory mounting only the Stage 2 and 3s have a 2.5" inlet and an upgraded housing,
