(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  My (hopefully non fail filled) BT battery box So this thing was a real bitch to make, but i took my time and I think it might end up bein a pretty decent attempt for my special ed self. Heres the ecu all mounted up to test fitment  The extra room it provides, which after some more trimming for the final design and movin some wires, it should add a little more room even  The negative is sorta close to the frame, but this shouldn't move much so I should be ok  and heres the final product all powdercoated, I will be installing this week hopefully and adding more pics!

The actual hold down is available for 25 on eBay, then I made the base outta 3/16" ss and the ecu plate is like 1/16" ss is all. It was a huge pain in the dick to make it fit and it still could be a little cleaner lol so no gb sorry

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score On the black piece that goes over the tranny, there's 2 bolts that go in front of the battery, and then 2 that are by the ecu. On the ecu side i have rubber mounts to help with vibrations and i"m gonna keep a close eye on em but it should hold fine. If ya think thats a bad idea let me know cuz i dont want shit flying around on this thing lol

Its installed just haven't taken pics yet, but even after sittin a few weeks, the battery fired the car right up, so not sure what's junk about it but i musta been fortunate. Plus i don't think there's a braille of the same dimensions so i'd be fucked haha

If this thing is causin all my codes and shit (see thread Rev limit launch and cel) then its goin back to stock, so if anyone has the stock black bracket that goes above the tranny, i need one. Also just got a random misfire code too. I took the ecu harness off the slide clip on the block so it would reach so maybe thats causin an issue, but it was a plastic clip on a metal bracket so i don't see how that could be a grounding point for anything. Fuck fuck fuck

I dunno if its the metal battery/ ecu mount causing issues, but rigs and gerry seem to be havin no problem with a metal on metal mount so i probably just have a plethora of fucked up shit to deal with

Will be for sale soon, Lookin for 210 obo shipped and don't really wanna separate the 2 since it'll be almost impossible to sell the battery by itself. Adds about 2.5-3" extra clearance and looks pretty clean imho. I'll pm the buyer some instructions since there's a few technicalities. Car fires right up with it though. Will make an official for sale when i can but someone can call dibs for now.
