Default ethanol analyzer

What's the best/ easy to use ethanol analyzer? If I want an exact E35 blend, how would one go about doing that since the pump e85 varies in ethanol and so does pump gas 91. Is there a way to analyze what's in the tank already also?

Not sure why you'd want to be that precise; the ecu will compensate for quite a bit more than 5-10% ethanol variance and will show up in the logs/trims as such. From there you can adjust the scalars, assuming your calibration is close to spot on.

Only because I don't even have the basic knowledge about tuning. My car is being tuned by Cobb and they seem quite anal about the percentage of ethanol.

They need to know in order to scale your fuel trims right, as well as to know where your cars knock threshold will be. But, like @Enki; said, as long as you give them what you filled up with, it won't matter if its E35 or E42 or E30.2 etc etc etc etc etc...

Tell them "I filled it from empty to full with 4 gallons of E and 10 of 91/93 whatever. Variances in E % are seasonal more than batch to batch. i.e it will switch from E85ish to E70ish sometime in the fall, then back to E85 sometime in the spring due to cold weather issues with the %. Day to day, week to week its not going to vary a whole lot.
