i contacted @Lex earlier this year through their website to arrange for a custom tune. within two weeks a slot opened up for me and we started the process. i told lex i wanted a safe, conservative, reliable tune for my daily driver that could be used under any conditons for a NY car. straight 93 octane only, no meth no e85. only aggressive street and highway, no drags, no track days (have miata for that). i had been running a cobb OTS Stage 2 93.

mods are cobb sri/tip, cobb dp, autotech internals, ngk 1 step colder plugs. stock tmic, stock cbe.

gains of more than 35hp and 80lb/ft consistently, boosts to just over 21psi and tapers. i know i wont be winning any dyno contests, but for my purposes it is exactly what i wanted. zero driveability issues, other than a lack of traction at times only adjustments made for streetability sake were raising idle to 850 (more because of plugs than tune), and slight pedal adjustment to make it 'longer.'

lex was awesome to deal with, answered all my noob questions, and always got back to me within 24 hours of my emails with fresh iterations. beacause i wasnt able to log right away, the whole process took just over a month and a total of nine iterations.

for $200 you are out of your mind to not get a custom tune.
