Default got the OTS stage 1 +93 map

i downloaded the stage 1 map since i have the stage 2 PP intake from JBR and was curious what a good base line for numbers should be...

anyone have a log to show maybe what i "should" be looking for in terms of category numbers or guidelines to try and stay within...

i did a 2sec bullsh*t log to make sure she was logging correctly but didnt have time to do any real logs yet as i just got my AP an hour ago...im not looking for astronomical numbers or major gains just yet...want to maintain some decent MPG's but have a bit more in the "go" dept...

In general LTFTs should be +/-10% or better, AFRs drop from 11.7 to 11 by redline under WOT, KR should be under 1* or you should use the 91 tune under WOT.

Boost will vary as these are targeting load.

i'll see if i can get a log today on the way to work and download it tomorrow and let you see if i'm in range to be good...she has a surge of sorts at about 7psi but takes a bit to build up to it...then it just skyrockets after that...think i saw some peak fuel pressures of like 1800 and fluttered around 1700-1750 just for the quick read i saw as i was in it on the hwy back home...not sure if those sound right though...

The LTFTs look great and that fuel pressure values are fine.

Did a log tonight when I got off work. Started logging as I crept up in first gear and progressed quickly thru the gears after but right around 5-5.5lbs of boost, it sounds like a vent opens or a loud leak and I can replicate it on demand at the same point in the boost meter if I give it some increasing throttle...if I go slowly and very gradually increase the throttle, it won't do it, just when its climbing fast. Makes no sense...checked the hoses and fittings again when I got home a few minutes ago and they are all tight, clamps tight, and appears to be no loose fittings or connections. Might do a boost leak test this weekend but I'm pretty sure it isn't a leak...will upload log when the kids get up for school.

I know the sound your hearing and its normal. It has more to do with how linear the throttle input is on the stratified map and the load based mapping.

i sure hope so because its an alarming sound to hear...when you take off and its all nice and gradual in whoosh as the intake sucks in and the boost whine builds then all of a sudden it sounds like someone stabbed a hole in the TIP and it gets so much louder...looked at the log and didnt see anything alarming based on rise and fall of things as it logged...

...but i can say this...fuel mileage goes out the f'n window when you stomp that bastard to the floor...it's like, you might as well have hit a dump valve on your fuel tank when you do...absolutely ridiculous how fast these things drink gas when its demanded...

went out to get gas for the week this afternoon and decided to take a more brisk path home and ran into a small issue...

lemme set the profile...
i get gas at the same two stations all the time...QT premium 93 always...i have my Respons tight enough to close but just baaaaarely get a smidge of compressor surge at low rpms every now and then...the valve is open maybe 15-20% VTA...

i flashed the map yesterday and she idles a bit low but within limits but ran good...this afternoon she ran like total ass...pulled out of the road i live on and i could feel it acting funny but figured just low on gas so i babied her to the gas station and filled her up...leaving QT, i went to get her up to speed in traffic and she stumbled and felt like it hit boost cut at maybe 2500-3k rpm...did it a few times at different lights or stops but no other times...pulled off on a side road, tightened the spring a qtr turn on the BOV and closed the valve a little more...seems to have helped the idle issue some but the sudden stumble in boost and whatnot has me baffled...my log this morning doesnt indicate bad HPFP for the tune it's set at...anyone see something on it i missed?

Generally speaking if one day the car runs fine with a particular tune and the next it doesn't with the same tune you may be running into hardware issues such as a boost or intake leak.
