Default 375hp CS turbo

Finally had a chance to play with one on the Dyno. Car is a 2012 with 21k miles, HTP 3.0 intake, CS TMIC, catted TBE, and aem meth kit running a 500cc nozzle and straight blue washer fluid (30% methanol) we weren't trying to get crazy with power as he plans to stay stock block. Ended up with 375hp/360tq. Then we went to the track later that night. After I made a couple passes in my car, I took his for a rip. On street tires and first pass, it went 13.1@113 hitting the limiter before the finish. So we will raise the rev limiter to 7k, and she should walk right into the 12s on street tires and a mediocre 60ft

What you think about the turbo ??? vs BNR S3 ...

Performance/$ is it a good turbo ???

K04 tuned (6200rpm max ???)
so the CS Turbo you can push it to 7000rpm (is it the max ??)

Full weight 2800 DA passes on the BNR S3 25% E85. I did not have meth at this point, but I did ask Justin to kindly increase my rev limit to 7.2K - which is probably most of the ~4-5mph trap difference. Either turbo will make the car a helluva lot of fun with that Freektune and some alcohol.

I would say it spools slightly slower than the s3 but has slightly more flow up top. At the end of the day it will make pretty similar power though.

You can run it out to 7k. Although power won't be climbing. It should stay pretty flat or just fall slightly.

How much of this is due to the additional fueling vs just DI on 93?

~45hp difference on my 93 vs E85 tune. I try not to run it at all - not just because it's slow, but because I'd rather be worried about running out of IDC instead of plinking off knock limits.

I like to do my tunes with straight 93 then I add 1 gallon E85 per tank. I keep looking at this turbo it is a great performer I just wish it could be clocked

Ahhhhh. Got it. Makes sense. I didn't know if it was a straight 93 pull without meth to get an idea of what the turbo can do with itself. I was gonna say, IIRC, a BNR is about 330ish.

Hard to believe that this one should outperform a GT28-size turbo like the S3 which has already proven to be capable of making more than 400 whp more than once.
Does anybody know the exact housing/wheel specs of the BNR so that one could compare to the corresponding data CS published on their hp? However I still doubt the 50 lbs/min assertion...
@Justin: Do you think/know that the CS turbo is as efficient at 24/25 psi and high revs as the S3, and which one flows better beyond 6k?
